#685 Low Emissions Neutral Gel Coat is a high performance, premium quality ISO gel coat formulated specifically for use with pigment to obtain superior color consistency and opacity. #685 cures to a brilliant gloss and is ideal for applications needing an opaque, lustrous and colorful surface. #685 is compatible with underwater and water contact marine applications. One gallon of gel coat will cover approximately 40-80 sq ft. Spray unthinned into molds or blend with #1040 Duratec Hi-Gloss when top coating.
Due to the lower monomer content for low emissions, we suggest catalyzing the LE gel coat at 2% depending on ambient temperatures.
