1602-A LVOC Infusion Adhesive is a specialty industrial spray adhesive specifically designed for the infusion molding process that meets the most strict VOC regulations. 1602-A is designed to adhere and hold reinforcing fiberglass materials (mats, pads, strips) in place prior to and during resin infusion. Specifically formulated for the infusion process, it will not interfere with the polymer matrix integrity and will cross-link with resins to create an integrated matrix.
What Is LVOC Infusion Spray Adhesive?
1602-A LVOC Infusion Adhesive is a specialty industrial spray adhesive formulated for the vacuum infusion process and compliant with the most strict VOC regulations. It holds reinforcing fiberglass materials including mats, pads, and strips in position before and during infusion, cross-linking with the infusion resin to become part of the integrated matrix without interfering with polymer matrix integrity.
Why Choose LVOC Infusion Spray Adhesive?
1602-A delivers the same infusion-specific performance as the standard 1601-A while meeting SCAQMD Rule 1168 and OTC emissions requirements. It provides fast tack for securing reinforcing materials in the mold and contains no HAPS, so performance is not compromised to meet the compliance requirement. Choose 1602-A when your facility or jurisdiction imposes strict VOC limits.
What Are the Best Applications for LVOC Infusion Spray Adhesive?
Use 1602-A for vacuum infusion layup in shops or jurisdictions subject to strict VOC regulations, tacking mats, pads, and strips in position before infusion. For infusion work without VOC restrictions, see 1601-A Infusion Adhesive. For general contact bonding rather than infusion, see 1603-A General Purpose and 1604-A Marine sprays.
How Should LVOC Infusion Spray Adhesive Be Used for Best Results?
Apply a light, even coat using the web spray pattern to hold reinforcing materials in the mold. Confirm compliance requirements with the product data sheet before use.
